I came to the CVS on Peachtree Street to pick up a prescription. It is the closest pharmacy to where I live in Midtown, so I use it more often than I would like. I walked in expecting the usual wait and got exactly that. The pickup line stretched from the counter all the way down the aisle going back toward the front of the store. I stood in line for more than fifteen minutes and still had five people ahead of me when I took stock of the situation. One employee was working the pickup window. No one came out to open a second register, acknowledge the line, or move anyone along. The pickup counter and the drop-off counter appeared to be handled by the same person, which is why nothing moves. This is not a one-time issue. Every single visit looks like this. The staffing problem is consistent enough that it feels like a store-level decision rather than a bad day. The shelves are stocked and the store itself is clean, so the issue is not effort from the people on the floor. It is how this location is run. If you have any other pharmacy option in Midtown, use it. Only come here if your insurance forces you to or you have nothing else on your schedule for the next half hour. For a quick prescription pickup, this location is not it.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

My pharmacy order was not ready for pick up well beyond the designated time. I called to ensure its readiness and was left on the phone forever, so I just went to pick it up. The assistant refused to prepare it because it was only 5 minutes until her lunch break.

I was left on hold for 52 minutes, when I called to complain the manager/pharmacist Sara could care less. Said “oh ok” I am the only pharmacist here. I said that doesn’t explain why I was left on hold for almost an hour, she said she was doing vaccinations. So, no one thought to say call back! These location is terrible, they clearly don’t care about their customers! Two different staff picked up during that almost hour hold, I told both of them I had been holding for a long time for both to just put me back on an extended hold. Either could’ve advised the pharmacist was busy.

I had a couple of good experiences with this pharmacy but that was it. One prescription was sent ten days ago but they said they have no record of it so my doctor sent it again. They’re still saying they have no record of it. Another prescription from an entirely different doctor’s office was also sent and I was told that they have no record of that either. I attempted to inquire over the CVS app but I wasn’t getting any response but the messages would be marked as “Read” and “Resolved” without them even reaching out to me and with zero resolution. My doctors then resent the prescriptions to Costco and within 10 minutes they were showing as received. So heed the warning if you’re thinking about using this pharmacy.

Tatiana was incredible, and she really simplified things for me. At times, it can be quite challenging to resolve technical issues when submitting your scripts to CVS, but Tatiana guided me through the entire process. She made me feel supported, as if she was truly advocating for me, and she ensured that all my questions were answered with a friendly smile and an unmatched level of professionalism. Thank you 😊
