I was really impressed by the customer service that I received from the pharmacy at this CVS! The only downside that I saw about the store was in some sections the shelves were a little bare (in their freezer and seasonal section). I think I'll check them out for their pharmacy again though because they were so nice.

Chad, the pharmacist, is consistently friendly, helpful, and truly goes above and beyond. Recently, he noticed they were out of the generic med I prefer and instead of just filling it with the one he had, he took the time to help me get my script filled at another CVS. That level of care and follow-through is rare and very appreciated. Thank you, Chad!

Horrible pharmacists. Spoke out loud jokingly about private information on pretty much every customer as we waited for 2 hours and she wouldn’t speak to the doctor. I’ve encountered the same with the male pharmacists. Didn’t care at all in a very sick situation. What was said out loud in front of other people was not nice. There was one nice male pharm tech the other had a beanie on and lots of piercings and was joking with the pharmacist about my clients medications. I felt bad for the staff with such a horrible ethics. I appreciated the nice young man and I told him that.

Do not go to CVS. They recently gave me the wrong prescription that was not covered by my insurance. It was a generic for a brand prescription I have been getting for months that was covered by my insurance. It cost me $466.16 whereas my normal prescription was covered by insurance.The pharmacist said "The doctor said we could do substitutes." But why would they give me a substitute when my regular prescription was covered by my insurance?. All I can think is that they get a "kick back" from this company this prescription was from. Beware! Plus the female pharmacist there is very rude and lacks empathy and gets defensive instead of listening and finding ways to help. I will never be back and will pursue this further with CVS and the Arizona Attorney General office.

This is specifically for the pharmacy it's head Pharmacist, Chad who brings a level of comfort and service to his customers rarely found any more. This is not the most convenient location for me but I go there because of him - he's helped me understand some of my scripts better which has given me opportunity to have a convo with my Dr. that led me to make some positive changes - today his bedside manner helped quell my fear of needles and get a much needed (shingles) vaccine. And this isn't just me - I've heard other customers speak with such respect and thank him for helping them too. He has regulars who's names he knows - reminds me of my grandfather who was a doctor 'back in the day' and how he treated his patients. In this time when authentic service - and kindness for that matter, can feel in short supply, Chad stands out as a true professional and a gem.
