Sheena Williams 2 months agoI am extremely disappointed by my experience at the CVS Pharmacy located at 4275 W Thomas Rd in Phoenix around 9:30 PM. Before even walking in, I was met with a very uncomfortable and concerning situation in the parking lot—individuals openly smoking drugs off foil in plain view of the store entrance. This wasn’t subtle. This was happening right where customers are expected to walk in. While I understand not everything falls on store staff, having security present and not addressing or even monitoring something that visible raises serious concerns about safety. Inside the store, the experience didn’t improve. I pressed the assistance button at a locked makeup case at 9:33 PM and waited over 20 minutes for help. The automated call for assistance repeatedly went off in both English and Spanish, clearly indicating a customer was waiting—yet no one responded. There were three employees at the front with only a small line of customers. Still, I was completely ignored until I had to raise my voice after more than 15 minutes just to be acknowledged. When the manager finally came over, his attitude was dismissive. At checkout, instead of apologizing or taking accountability, he chose to argue about how long I had been waiting, saying, “I thought it was only 15 minutes.” This was after I had already waited, been helped by another associate—not him—and then stood in line to pay. He was arguing this point from another register while assisting a different customer, which was not only inappropriate, but honestly embarrassing to witness. His response was not only inaccurate, it was unnecessary and completely unprofessional. The issue isn’t whether it was 15 or 20 minutes—the issue is that a customer was left standing there that long at all, followed by a dismissive response when it was brought to his attention. To make matters worse, the manager refused to provide his name when asked, and none of the employees were wearing name badges. Other staff members, including security, were unwilling to identify him either, which only added to the lack of accountability. Between the unsafe conditions outside, the complete lack of responsiveness inside, and the dismissive attitude from management, this was one of the worst retail experiences I’ve had in a long time. I have photos of the conditions outside and will be including this in a formal complaint to CVS. If this is how customers are treated over a simple purchase, I would be very concerned about relying on this location for anything more important—especially pharmacy needs. This store’s 3-star rating is generous. Easily one of the worst CVS locations I’ve experienced in Phoenix—if not Arizona.
Lucia 6 months agoIt’s not the first time that Pharmacy drive-thru services were closed five minutes before their lunch break. I understand that everyone needs a break, but please don’t close before your scheduled time, especially when people are using the drive-thru for consultations and prescription drop offs or other services that require more time than just picking up their medication. Some of us just need to collect our prescriptions and leave. Please be considerate of everyone’s time.
Isabel Aguilar a month agoThis CVS was clean and Yolanda was welcoming as soon as I walked in until the time I left. She was helpful and patient with me and made me feel comfortable. Yolanda made me want to go back to this CVS to shop.
Adriana Tellez 5 months agoCame in to buy 2 packs of toilet paper had my valid coupon ready, the coupon wasn’t pulling up on their side even after I scanned the item right in front of them and even they were confused as to why it wasn’t working. It was only a $2 coupon so I asked if they could just remove $2 and the manager Rasheed said no, I asked well where do we go from here, he said he didn’t know. What’s the point of having a manager that can’t find a solution to a $2 coupon. Very bad service to have a manager who can’t do anything.
