Tara Dudley 2 months agoSince changing from Bartells to CVS this pharmacy has gotten so much better. Super helpful when navigating different types of prescriptions with my doctor (ones that auto renew versus ones for which I have to request the Dr to refill every time, etc). Their pick up process is simpler and super fast. Reliably good experience.
Ann Pulkkinen 4 months agoExcellent customer service from the pharmacy! They patiently figured out a complicated, confusing situation. CVS has rescued this store after RiteAid almost killed it. A valuable community resource.
Elise Neroutsos 4 months agoThey have given me the incorrect lancets for my device not once but twice. As a result I have had to skip tests and order over the counter replacements. Do not use this pharmacy if you care about your health I guess.
A. 9 months agoThis pharmacy used to be a Bartell's, and ever since it switched to CVS the difference is NIGHT AND DAY! So much better! The pharmacists are friendly and helpful, and the prescription pick up line moves super fast because they have a computer check-in system now (it streamlines the process, I was skeptical but now I love it). My experience here has been fantastic so far, they have come out of the gate SO much better than the previous Bartell's which was honestly a little notorious in the neighborhood for being an unpleasant experience. The downside is that you can no longer call a person at the pharmacy directly. This is a double edged sword. On the one hand it speeds up things for ALL customers by letting pharmacists lock in on their job, but it can feel frustrating in the moment when you really want to hear a human voice. If it is important to you to interact directly with a pharmacist at each step of the process, I would recommend a different pharmacy. For me I just need routine medicine so I don't mind participating in the digital system. Edit: Remember, most people who go out of their way to leave a review for a *pharmacy* service are impatient and in pain at the time of writing. There is always a negativity bias for healthcare services for this reason, because people who have decent experiences don't usually go out of their way to write a review. So just use your best discernment.
Heather Heye 5 months agoMy prescription was sent to this CVS two months ago. After multiple failed attempts to call for a status update, I finally went in person. I was first told I didn’t have a prescription, then told I never requested it be filled—both of which were inaccurate. I showed them all the info and timestamps on the CVS app and told them,I specifically called about a week after my doctor sent it in and was told they were working on it. After more back-and-forth, I was finally told the real reason: they never filled it because it wasn’t covered by insurance. The issue? No one ever called to ask if I still wanted it filled or if I was willing to pay out of pocket. They simply did nothing for two months. While I was there, multiple other customers were also having issues with long delays (2+ weeks) without getting Rx filled. This seems like a process failure, not a one-off mistake. Imagine if this were an older patient or someone unable to advocate for themselves who just gave up—the consequences of not receiving necessary medication could be catastrophic. I would strongly recommend avoiding this CVS and going to the CVS inside Target at Northgate instead. The customer service there is significantly better, and they actually seem to have checks and balances.
