This CVS Pharmacy is incredibly disorganized and frustrating to deal with. There were over five employees working, yet the line was still ridiculously long with no sense of urgency or efficiency. On top of that, they don’t notify you when your prescription is ready. Even worse, when you call, they tell you to come in at a certain time — and when you arrive, your medication still isn’t ready. It’s a complete waste of time and shows a lack of respect for customers. To make matters worse, the area around the pharmacy is extremely dirty and has an unpleasant smell, which just adds to the overall negative experience. The entire place feels chaotic, poorly managed, and unclean. Definitely needs major improvements in communication, organization, and basic cleanliness.

This is my go to CVS in Bakersfield. The pharmacy techs and pharmacist are always professional and prompt. Yes, they are always extremely packed, but they are trying their hardest to handle the long wait times. Even with their computer systems going down, they are still giving out prescriptions. They always go above and beyond!!

Got a prescription from the Urgent Care at 11:00, Dr. advised me to wait about two hours before going. Waited 3 hours and went to go pick it up. They told me to come back in 10-20 minutes. Came back about an hour and a half later. While I’m waiting in line, which keep in mind is backed up out into the aisles because they have one woman working the front, they call me and tell me my prescription is ready. Wait 20 minutes to make my way up to the front only for them to tell me they need 10-20 minutes to finish getting. Not sure what kind of joke you guys run for a pharmacy, but it’s absolutely ridiculous to sit and wait 6 hours for something that should have been done within 2-3

Pharmacy supposely opens at 1pm and it’s already 1:05pm and it’s still closed. The last time I came they went to lunch exactly at the time, but they dont open at the exact time.
