The CVS on Bascom has been my go-to for years—pretty much since growing up in the area. It’s a large, well-stocked location that stays organized even with steady foot traffic. I rarely see it messy or disorganized, which makes it easy to find what you need quickly. The pharmacy hours are especially convenient—they stay open until 8 PM during the week, which makes late pickups after work so much easier. Service at both the front and pharmacy counters is quick and efficient, and the team here has always been polite and helpful. Overall, this location has that reliable, neighborhood feel while still being clean, professional, and well run. Definitely one of the better CVS locations in the South Bay.

I had a great experience at my local CVS on Bascom/Hamilton, SJ. I went there for the Hair event when you spend $40 you get $10 off. I made sure the coupons were clipped on my cvs app and picked up all my hair needs that was on sale. I was happy the shelves were stocked and got all the extrabucks deals with my transaction. Woo hoo!

While the staff are very friendly, this location is always short on cashiers and there is often a long line to check out that is the length of half the store. I fault CVS for not providing a reasonable amount of cashiers and not having self check out. This has been the case for at least the last 2 years. Im going to be switching to a different pharmacy.

Pharmacy is always busy but they go as fast as they can and still maintain professional courtesy. Came here for a passport photo at around 10am and was told they don't have anyone for that until 1pm - so I went across the street to UPS Store to have it done quickly and easily.

Azniv does not know how to handle pharmacy queue. Allowing a customer to skip an entire queue because she made up a mobile pick up line and regular pick up line. There was no signage signaling a mobile pick up queue, no attendant at the mobile kiosk, and importantly only one queue. Edit: Looking at past review photos, I see the sign on the divider. I was so shocked during my experience I checked the line for that sign. That sign is no longer there but it seems Azniv is not knowledgeable of this.
