As far as pharmacies in the area, this is one is a god send. Switched here after issues with a few different CVs pharmacy’s and the Walgreens closing. It’s out of the way, but that means it’s quieter and sometimes ZERO line! I agree with other reviews that the store is short? Like not very tall inside, haha but the employees are lovely, and they honestly seem to care as people.

Always a long long line for the pharmacy, one computer as the 2nd one seems perpetually down. Old equipment. Expect to wait 15-30 minutes in line, and even then, prescriptions might not be ready. Some staff very nice, others rude and condescending (Sean). Switching to a more functional place.

It's overly expensive, and an awful place to even step into, especially when you're feeling crummy and are in need of the pharmacy. I feel bad for the employees, and I just feel bad physically after waiting in there for an hour. There are really loud humming and vibrating machines everywhere, and tons of exposed flickering florescent lights. Plus the pharmacy is understaffed. Seriously, fix your damn lights and the awful vibrations. The music is awful and too loud and vibrates as well. My joints hurt after having to wait in there for my prescription. Plus it gave me a headache. And the air is stagnant, especially in the line for the pharmacy where you know a bunch of sick people have been/ are standing. Regardless of when I go, the pharmacy always takes forever. From the person at checkout, I don't know what's up with their system but they always stare at the screen for a long time after inputting your name, to the prescription fillers who don't even scan your prescription when it's done so you have to wait extra long because it's just sitting there ready. I added more errands to my trip home too to make sure it was ready between the Dr sending it in and arriving at the pharmacy, still no.. And the lunch break where everyone in the pharmacy leaves? That's just poor management. Lunches should be staggered so people can still get their meds, also to relieve pressure on the line after lunch and the staff. I overheard them say that the line after lunch takes over an hour to get through. Everyone in the pharmacy seemed miserable. The person at the vaccine window was better, at least he acknowledged that my script should have been ready and went to check on it, but every time I've been, the initial person you talk to just seems like they don't care about their job at all. And they take forever to do anything and don't acknowledge people. Do better CVS. Airflow, better lights, no crazy loud bone vibrating machines, and more staff. Your prices certainly are high enough.

The problem with this CVS has nothing to do with the employees and everything to do with the fact that CVS has bought out or pushed out every other pharmacy and so they know we have no other choice. Why would they pay for more staff if we have to go here no matter what anyway? Why not just make us wait? We will. We have to. Also it's insane how difficult it is to buy deodorant because it's in jail and there's only one person working here. It is not profitable for them to do this. So why do they do this? It's because it's not about profit or the customer or the employee. It is about the stock holders. And if stock holders can be told that the issue is theft and not online shopping that's the problem, they can be told that there's a solution: deodorant jail. If the issue is Amazon, well there's no easy solution there. Theft tho - I mean that's easy, just lock up the deodorant!

I came here today to get my Covid Bivalent shot and flu shot. I was greeted by Sonya who gave me my shots. She was very nice and had a great personality. I would come here again for my future immunizations. Easy on and off Hwy 13. Lots of free parking. Lincoln Square is a hidden gem.
