Lanny Lam 2 months agoVery disappointing to have young people working in retail pharmacy stores because they don’t take their job serious. My sole intention of this review is to address concerns regarding posted business hour and closing earlier than anticipated. I with 3 found ourselves outside the store at 9:50pm on a Wednesday night with doors already shut and denied entry. I understand store closes at 10, however, I’ve always been able to shop until given time and checkout. After expressing and questioning the young lady that took the time to let us know that they close at 10, yet we clarified we had time she showed and lacked customer service skills and continued to turn us all away. Fortunately I drive, the others showed up on foot yet they don’t acknowledge that people plan their schedule around OPERATING TIME, take Ubers and our time and business isn’t being respected. I needed one item only, knew exact location, and left out of options near me, concluding with health complications overnight, over one selfish mistake (closing earlier). With all respect, I ask that management address and look into the this issue and make sure operating hours are met consistently and if not, they should make changes online where it is visible and clear to all consumers in advance. If I may add, also better training for employees who lack empathy or insensitivity towards customers. Hope this is truly the last bad experience I have at this store because I’ve had far too many and this was the icing on the cake. Best, Lanny L.
Jeshenia Canton 7 months agoIncident Date: 12/02/25 Business: CVS Pharmacy – Store # 4019 Cashier # 2627779 TRN#4799 City/State: 5837 S. CENTRAL AVE., LOS ANGELES, CA 90001 Description of the Incident: I am filing this complaint due to discrimination and denial of reasonable accommodation at a CVS store. I have a physical disability (carpal/cubital tunnel syndrome) that limits my hand strength and prevents me from holding or carrying objects for long periods of time. On the day of the incident, I went to CVS to complete two separate transactions. The first transaction was small. After completing it, I informed the same cashier that I had additional items—four large and heavy boxes—that I could not carry because of my disability. I placed these boxes near the register ahead of time since I am unable to hold them while standing in line. When I asked the cashier to ring up the second transaction using the boxes that were already next to,me near line, he refused and told me I had to redo the entire line again, even though I had not left his register. He stated that he had a long line. I would hold up tje line but contrary to that therr where 4 cashiers mending the line. I asked why I should redo the whole line simply because I cannot physically carry the boxes. He did not offer any help or alternatives. I then asked four additional cashiers who were standing nearby for assistance. All four refused and repeated the same instruction—to redo the line—without offering any reasonable accommodation. None of the employees were wearing name badges, and all refused to identify themselves when asked. I then requested the store manager. A woman stepped forward, claimed she was the manager . However, when I politely asked her to confirm her name for documentation, she also refused to provide it. She did not offer any assistance or accommodation for my disability. And when I told her about my disability in a cold manner she stated she did not care and she it was so easy for her to walk away from me and she did. Found out her name was Stacey. Additionally, when I asked if the store had carts, baskets, boxes, or any tools to help hold or transport items, I was told that this CVS does not carry carts or baskets at all. This means the store does not provide any means for customers with disabilities—like myself—to safely hold or transport multiple or heavy items. This creates a barrier for disabled customers and prevents equal access to the store’s goods and services. Impact: Because of my disability, carrying heavy items or standing in long lines again is physically painful, difficult, and unsafe. The staff’s refusal to provide assistance, refusal to modify their policies, refusal to offer alternatives, refusal to identify themselves, and the store’s lack of any carts or baskets resulted in humiliation, physical strain, and denial of equal access. This conduct violates my rights under ADA Title III, which requires businesses to provide reasonable accommodations to customers with disabilities. Requested Action: I respectfully request that the Department of Justice review this incident and ensure that this CVS location receives appropriate ADA compliance training and implements policies that accommodate disabled customers.
Daniel Guzman 4 months agoThey lie to you to get rid of you . The people working here suck. Grandma cant never get no help here. Phone gets hanged up and the drive through is even more BS. Apparently no medicine is ever ready here and they have 1 job . This CVS is full of BS when it comes down to ordering and handling prescriptions.
Michelle Mitchell 4 months agoI love the CarePass. It is convenient and saves you a lot of money for sure. I would recommend it to anyone. And the CVS on Central and Slauson have workers that provide great customer service.
