This is a difficult CVS to review as there is a lot of shenanigans from the unhoused just outside the door. But it’s a good CVS, the employees are nice and helpful. This one is good if you’re staying in the area or need something in a pinch.

The store is clean and the sales associates are friendly and knowledgeable. The pharmacy is also very professional and they offer vaccines on the spot if you need them. I understand the frustration that may or may not have been expressed about many items being locked up. I do think this is necessary. The store is skid row adjacent and management is doing the best they can to being able to stay in business and serve those in the neighborhood. They are quick to assist you if you need an item that is locked up. Keep up the GREAT work!!!

I received excellent customer service from the cashier today. I didn't catch his name but I appreciate the interaction and would recommend this CVS to anyone in the area off that alone. I hope if the store does ever recognize their associates for their customer service, that he gets the props he deserves!

Incredible service on my second day in LA! I stopped by CVS on my second day after arriving in Los Angeles and was immediately impressed. I had a sore throat and wasn’t sure what to buy. Thankfully, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful — they patiently guided me to the right products and answered all my questions. I ended up getting Chloraseptic sore throat spray and Halls Honey Lemon drops — both were life-savers! The Chloraseptic spray worked instantly, and the Halls lozenges gave me relief throughout the day. The store was well-organized, clean, and easy to navigate. Big shoutout to the CVS team for helping a new LA resident feel better and welcomed. Great service makes a huge difference — thank you!

Great store with wonderful worker's but the Location is extremely horrible. California really needs to clean up downtown LA to make it safe for the people who shop at cvs as well as the people who live and work in the area.
