I had an unfortunate experience with a sales associate at this location on Saturday 6/6/2026 (3.45pm). She was working the register closest to the door. Her name is Darlene. I politely walked up and smiled at her and placed my items on the counter. She said clearly, "Who does she think she is, Beyonce?" and rolled her eyes at me. Smacked her lips together and begrudgingly rang up my vitamins. I do not think it is okay to be unnecessarily rude to customers as I definitely did not deserve any type of attitude from her. I stopped at this location as it is closer to my house but I will go back to the Los Altos or Seal Beach CVS. This incident will be reported to the manager. The day it happened, I did not want to make a scene or say anything just yet as I was upset by the interaction. I will let people know that outside of this issue, the store was clean & orderly. The other clerk (a guy - did not catch his name) I met was nice and helpful so thank you to him.

Absolutely love this location. The entire staff is great! From Justin, the guy with longer hair, the managers, the pharmacy staff, I’ve always had a great experience. Be patient with the pharmacy as they do try to provide faster service but unfortunately so many people need meds and there’s only so much they can do to keep accuracy. Also don’t be annoyed by some items locked up, I’m sure they don’t want to as it’s more work for them to come and unlock the section, but they unfortunately have to when folks steal things which affects their business (and safety) so again, I applaud this location for keeping it positive and being so kind and nice.

Do not do not do NOT get prescriptions here. Lady refused to give my fiancée his very needed medication because “his usual cvs didn't call to say they were out of stock” which ISN’T EVEN POLICY because his doctor directly sent the prescription there. She said she was “ uncomfortable “ giving him HIS MEDICATION that HIS doctor prescribed him.

The worst store I’ve ever been to in my life. There’s a bald little guy who treats everyone badly and doesn’t help people. I’m going to report him to the CVS Pharmacy company because he’s extremely disrespectful.”

Calling the Marina store in Long Beach and Fernando was so pleasant to talk with his footprint of customer service is awesome compared to other calls made about reprint of a print and I commend his awesome handling of this call he made me have a bright spot in holiday season to have a good ear and great answer before me traveling to get my hands on more prints to brighten others right there on the spot 😀
