My daughter sprained her ankle and paid with the app--and asked me to go to the CVS on 1701 Independence Blvd in Va Beach, VA. I arrived between 6pm and 7pm on Wed 2/25/2026--and the employee at the counter acted as if I inconvenienced her. I smiled when I entered and said hi and explained this was my first time at this particular store and that I needed to pick up an ankle brace for my daughter who paid with the app. She asked for the last for numbers of the pickup number and then asked if it was a "roady." I told her I had no idea what that was for this was my first time here (I basically repeated myself). She asked for my name and then pointed at a clear glass box that had app orders there--never saying thank you, never smiling, and never providing customer service--obviously acting like she was happy to get rid of me. Is that what she gets paid to do? What happened to "listening to the customer's question" and "thanking the customer for giving this store business"? The sad thing was I spoke to her in a very polite manner, so there was no legitimate reason for her to be rude. Is she a reflection of how all your employees are at this particular CVS? If I wasn't in a good mood, I would've went off on her--and it would've been well deserved. I could see if she was busy, but there was no one at the counter at the time I approached her. I told my daughter about it, and she said she had a bad experience the last time she went to this CVS. She said she's probably not going back to this 1701 Independence Blvd CVS--and thanks to this employee it's probably my first and last visit to this store. I would've gave a one star, but at least this employee pointed to where my daughter's order was.

Highly recommend extra care , I regularly receive 40% off coupons. I have gotten so very good deals using these coupons . The extra care does not cost anything to join .Thank you !!

I only use cvs bc my insurance requires it. The people are nice, but the app is slow. And their prices are high.

Previously left a 5 star review but now I am very disappointed and will need to switch pharmacies. I have had to jump through hoops trying to get a particular medication filled and no one at this location seems to want to help. They keep blaming my doctor’s office but it doesn’t make sense. I’ll try my luck at the Walgreens down the street. Hopefully they will actually be willing to help instead of giving me the run around that this CVS has. That is 6 prescriptions worth of business I will be taking elsewhere.

good location for the store staff is very friendly it's never too busy here at least not when I've come through. They have all your daily needs for that quick stop in it's a pharmacy so you can also get prescriptions here. Been here few times . Clean store. Fast service. Keep up good work.
