Due to relocating from another part of philly, I switched to this CVS. The pharmacy is chronically out of stock for certain meds and the techs/pharmacists are not welcoming or helpful. I have been here several times and have not seen any decency in basic customer service. I'm either switching to a locally owned pharmacy or will commute to my old CVS located on the other side of the city.

The pharmacist, Sam, is great! So helpful and knowledgeable. The store had some empty shelves but I attribute that to the fury before the flurry (impending snowstorm). The store is quiet and on the smaller side but well maintained and well located. There is no parking other than 1 hr street parking (if you can find it).

The pharmacy here is terrible. They literally can’t do math or fill prescriptions appropriately. The employees here will do anything to get out of filling a prescription. When you call to try and reach a solution, they do not follow through and tend to be rude in the phone as well. You are better off taking your prescriptions elsewhere.

Was seeking the $10 Extra Bucks for $30 spent on multiple items in the Oral and Personal care aisle… Even though my wife and I spend hundreds plus at this location… I was met with a “Manager” at 7:30pm on 11/9/25 who was unwilling to take 6 steps to her left to confirm that all my purchases were valid. She clearly lacks the Customer Service gene I suppose, and is likely unsuited for her position. She did not care to be contradicted, and had NO interest in the truth! Even the Cashier, (who had helped me find the items) told me that she had no idea what was going on. If CVS doesn’t care to honor their discounts, then maybe stop offering them!! It’s little wonder that folk are moving away from their business. This was our local Pharmacy… it is no longer. We spent almost $40 instead of the required $30 on the red tagged items, but the “Manager” could not be troubled to confirm that. We’ll miss many things about our neighborhood CVS… But not this. If you're in the market for an unpredictable cardio workout combined with a scavenger hunt for essential medication, look no further than this CVS. I was told my prescription would be ready by 6pm. So, like a responsible adult (with strong ankles), I walked 0.8 miles to pick it up. I arrived at exactly 5:55pm, only to discover that the pharmacy had decided time is a social construct and closed early. Bold move. No worries, I thought — I’ll come back Sunday. Plot twist: not only was the prescription still not ready, but there’s a chance they sold the last of the medication. It’s like a pharmaceutical version of “Survivor,” except no one wins. Thankfully, they had the stock, or this review would’ve been written from a much less charming place (like the ER). All jokes aside, I rely on this specific medication, and since this is the only CVS in the area that carries it, I’d appreciate a little more reliability. Or at least a heads-up when closing early — maybe a smoke signal? Carrier pigeon? Something? Would love to see the sequel go a bit smoother. Preferably with less suspense.
