Sarah Jahanbakhsh 4 months agoI understand the volume of people this store must receive on a daily basis given its the only cvs in fairmount, but omg it’s impossible to shop here. Right when you enter the stores there’s about 5-10 bags of dog poo sitting right there along with so much trash in the parking lot. There’s boxes down a majority of the isles making it a hazard to shop as well as in accessible for most people who can’t squeeze through. It’s just such a mess!
M.R. Cardonick 3 months agoI'm happy to report that CVS executives, FINALLY, took the steps needed to GREATLY IMPROVE the CVS on Fairmount Avenue in Philadelphia. The problematic pharmacy manager, Amin Aziz, is NO LONGER employed. The new pharmacy manager, Kimberly Kulick, is a relief, creating a much better pharmacy experience. Staff has been increased, is pleasant, has great synergy, and they are organized, while PROPERLY STAFFED for the amount of scripts the pharmacy fills. Nearly EVERY pharmacy employee genuinely pleasant, responsive, HELPFUL, cordial, and PROFESSIONAL. Messages left for the pharmacy are returned in the PROMPT manner they are supposed to. The pharmacists, and staff are, EMPATHETIC, SOLUTION-ORIENTED, and are truly a breath of fresh air! CVS has updated the check-in process, with automated check-in screens at every pharmacy register, to provide a more EFFECTIVE and EFFICIENT process, beneficial to customers and the staff. I applaud Mr. Oke, who oversees the pharmacy for the region, and the VP of Customer Relations, and her staff. Additionally, the CVS customer service representatives on phone support have consistently been helpful, and have tried to use their resources to correct issues. Again, THIS IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PHARMACY AND STORE EXPERIENCE!. From front of house to the pharmacy, hiring is well done, and THE STAFF IS WONDERFUL. Thank you for making the decision to remove the cancer from within your store! Upper management's actions are well-documented, SUBSTANTIATED, and have caused the change that's been necessary. The store itself has always been a GREAT experience. It had been led by Erica McCullough, an excellent Store Manager who led by example. She’s been replaced by Nicole Dippel, with big shoes to fill, but has already instituted changes to take advantage of every bit of footage available on and above shelves and end caps. I have not met her (yet). The store staff all contribute to assist consumers, keep the store clean, and organized. The employees take extra effort to check if a product, missing from the shelf, is in back, and waiting to be restocked. It’s now not toxic, or a preparation for anxiety and stress to go to CVS. THAT’S NOT MY objectivity, but the summation of customers each time I have gone to the store over the last 9 months. Unloading the Pharmacy Manager was OVERDUE AND REQUIRED. The other CVS employees are all exceptional, and provide a positive experience.
Jewels Sam (Jules) a month agoTHE SUPERVISOR WAS DEGRADING HER BLACK STAFF WHEN I WAS PICKING UP A FEW ITEMS FOR WORK. Especially this young lady dressed in all black. She stated “ I will send you home because you’re showing off, well some people are talented and some are not. It was clearly jealousy intent. This Caucasian lady was verbally abusive to her. I reported the Supervisor to CVS. It’s a-shame what people will say to another person in this day and time when they think no one is listening. KARMA IS ALWAYS THE BEST DELIVERY.
Krystique 4 months agoGood evening Google Family. I visited this location for the first time today after leaving Eastern State Penitentiary for a tour. I arrived in a Lyft and promptly alighted to take advantage of the tour at the prison. The daily hours here are 10am to 5 pm every day. I bought my senior ticket online. It was $19.00. The regular admission is $21.00. I arrived about 12:15 pm and immediately went to the box office where my ticket was scanned. Then I encountered Sam, an employee here, who told me about the headphones and the walkie. There is no guide here, just the headphones with the audio and the small walkie that it plugs into. After my tour at the prison and taking some photos, I then walked to CVS to reload my prepaid card. There was no one in line. Ophelia was the CVS associate who assisted me.Thank goodness, it was a smooth transaction and I was actually able to swipe my card. I always seem to have a problem with it. Maybe finally I have gotten the hang of it. Ophelia was nice and polite and professional while assisting me with my transaction. I had a good experience here today and my encounter was short and sweet. Have a good night, workout, be active and mobile, be fit and fabulous especially for people over 50 years of age.
Chrissy S 4 months agoPharmacy: fine if you never need support. But this is my second awful customer service experience. Because the pharmacist gave me the wrong information, I wasted time calling insurance only to have to call CVS back and wait on hold again. By the time the second pharmacist was able to help me it was too late for me to get my emergency fill for the day (and with storm coming, likely forcing me to be out of meds for over 48 hours).
