I use this CVS a fair amount. Staff are friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Scheduling is pretty easy, although when scheduling for a multi-person party it's not completely clear how the vaccination record for those not currently logged in gets associated with their account. When calling on the phone, the computer (so-called AI, I assume) is a pain. It can't deal with anything but the simple scenarios. Eventually one can leave a message, the staff call back, and they are helpful.

Was told my prescription would be ready by 3pm, but was pleasantly surprised when it was already finished by 11am! I was stunned - and very grateful. When I picked it up, I was quickly helped - efficiently and courteously.

If you have a vaccination here, be very sure that the vaccine they are about to give you is the one you thought you had scheduled. A family member and I scheduled ourselves for a vaccine by phone. We very clearly told them on the phone that we both wanted that particular vaccine--that our clinic had recommended it over a newer one that has only been in use for a very short time. At our appointment, a pharmacy tech brought over the one we did not want. When we said that was not the one that we had requested and had wanted, she repeated a couple of times, "So you don't want the one that's been proven more effective?" Prior to our appointment, a pharmacist at this location had already prepared all the paperwork for the vaccine we didn't want--apparently deciding that they should make that health care decision for us. Also, the person who checked us in for our appointments did not listen carefully; when told that my family member had never taken a medication that was on their record for use only as needed, the employee seemed boggled by this and asked, "How long have you been taking it?"

I feel as though so many pharmacies nowadays are horrendous, but this one takes the cake. You almost always have to wait well over 30 minutes in line, you can never get ahold of someone when you try and call and when you do get to the front of the line they act like they have no idea what they are doing. I usually try to not judge too harshly, but this pharmacy is so ridiculously mismanaged, it’s almost comical. I have come here multiple times and it’s always the same. After today, I will never come back and unless you have 45-60 minutes to spare to pick up a prescription, I would advise everyone to stay away.

They are okay overall, but one thing I don’t like is that they seem to have a lot of issues with “how” things are prescribed - more than I’ve seen at other pharmacies. Like if the prescriber puts in brand vs. generic name, they have to contact the provider or insurance or what have you to make sure that the alternative is still okay (even when the chemical compound is identical)! I had to go without a psych med for about a week because of this. Just small loopholes that seem like they could be easily resolved. For the record, if anyone sees this: I don’t care if something is brand name or generic and I don’t think my provider does either! 😊
