This CVS CONSISTENTLY has the most aggressive staff of any CVS I've ever entered. Actually, it's the most aggressive staff of any store in which I've ever shopped. NOONE was at the registers. A staff member called out, to no one, in particular, to ask if anyone was at the registers. I verbally confirmed that there were not. Then, I was blindsided from behind by a staff member, a large, intimidating man, snapping at me from the self checkout, "you don't SEE me?!?" Yes, I saw you, doing your job and helping people self check out. That doesn't help any of us waiting in the long line at the registers! The woman who finally waited on me was In no better mood, muttering under her breath, “Jesus Christ…” and other unintelligible words of anger. She hissed, asking me if I had a CVS card, and I said yes… Waiting for my next instructions. This infuriated her as she swung her arm at me to point at the small screen in front of me. No words, just quiet anger. I was passed intimidated and slightly scared at this point. So, I very timidly asked her to apply my coupons, which just frustrated her even more. How is any of this behavior good for business? Do any managers actually check on the employees? If so, CVS needs to check on their managers. TIP: there are two other CVS Locations, within a few blocks of this one. Both offer a safer atmosphere and are worth the walk.

I was extremely happy with the very reasonable manager John, who initially refused my refund on a product I was trying to return, because I had lost my receipt, but after a cordial discussion that was short of a heated argument, he actually went beyond the call of duty and was able to search the stores database to prove my claim, thus promptly granting my refund. Emotions don't solve problems, but fair discussion oftentimes can!

I've been going here for about 5 years. The staff is awesome the pharmacy is great for quick refills and pickups. Everyone that works here is super friendly

CVS store changes continue to exasperate customers and staff. If you lock up 50% of the store then you need people on the floor to assist them. The automation requires more and more from the customer, takes longer to check out, and doesn't seem to help anyone other than CVS corporate who is selling our data for additional revenue.

A big shout out to the pharmacy crew at the CVS at 285 Columbus Ave! With the unfortunate abrupt closure of the Walgreens over on Washington Street, and with the general all-around confusion over covid/flu shot availability and access ,I had been concerned about getting my immuninizations without having to book an out of schedule PCP provider appt. So out of curiosity, I took a stroll over to inquire about getting them there. While I am sure they would appreciate scheduled appointments, I was able to get both as a walk-in, with no wait, they took my insurance and my companion was able to get an RSV shot as well. They were extremely pleasant, helpful and efficient and I can’t recommend their services highly enough. They were being noticeably kind and patient to an older lady whose doctor had failed to renew her prescription. I was very impressed with the quality of their services. Oh, and right now, with a covid shot, you get a free $10 off any purchase of $20 or more that’s good til December! So, YAYYY!!!
