I am continually impressed by the quality of the CVS cashiers and pharmacy teams at this 14th & W store. I've written praise and commendations about him before, but the man named Lidetu is a rock star and shining beacon for the CVS brand. He always, always, goes out of his way to be helpful, greets me by name when I enter the store, and comes up to me as I'm shopping to ask again if I need any help, and is cool and poised under pressure at the registers. For example, earlier this week a woman and her child were struggling (for at least 6 or so minutes) at his register (he was alone up there) and a line started to form and customers were audibly groaning -- so he rang for assistance and then opened a second register at which he quickly and with a smile started ringing up those of us in line. Please promote him to CEO or store manager or clone him or something. A rare person to behold in a world with increasingly crappy customer service. Bravissimo.

I had a very uncomfortable and unprofessional experience at this CVS location today. I approached the cashier, Getachew, politely and explained that I wanted to return an item in exchange for another. He ignored my explanation and immediately asked for my CVS phone number, without acknowledging what I had said. When he noticed the return item, he said, “What’s this?” and “What am I supposed to do with this?” despite the item being placed directly next to the receipt. While I did not have the original barcode packaging, I did have the receipt clearly present. At that point, his behavior escalated—he began yelling at me about not having the package. I remained calm and told him I no longer wished to speak with him and asked for a manager. He refused to get one and told me to go find the manager myself, raising his voice and shouting that the manager was “in the back.” The entire interaction felt hostile, dismissive, and completely inappropriate for a customer service environment. I understand store policies, but there is no justification for yelling at a customer or refusing to assist with getting a manager. I hope this is addressed, as no customer should be treated this way.

Careless experience. Security is high as hell. Cashier is mouthy. Shelves look like someone stopped restocking and labelling product prices halfway A mess. Found some interesting products though.

I went to pick up my order and asked the staff if the bag fee was waived because I brought my own bag and didn't need theirs. They didn't understand my words AT ALL and just said I'm good. I trusted them and left, but it turned out the bag fee WAS CHARGED. SHAME ON YOU!! PLEASE HIRE SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS ENGLISH!!

Why cant you speak to a person, my question is time sensitive, I cant wait an hour for a return phone call. Absolutely unacceptable customer service. Been trying for 2 days to get thus prescription.
