My first experience at this CVS earlier today was pleasant thanks to a very kind cashier who was welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, I later had two interactions with another employee that left a very different impression. During my morning visit, this employee inserted himself into my checkout and suggested I should go to self-checkout, even though the cashier was already assisting me. Later that afternoon, I returned to purchase an item and attempted to use self-checkout, but the product would not scan. When I asked for assistance, the same employee appeared visibly annoyed, offered no greeting, and was very cold during the checkout process. I understand everyone can have difficult days, but basic courtesy goes a long way in customer service. One negative interaction can unfortunately overshadow an otherwise positive store experience. I hope management encourages consistent, welcoming customer service from all employees.

Pharmacy said they’ve been out of stock for over 3 weeks. That’s way above the area average, and the HT across the street does not have any issues. (Wish they took my insurance still). It’s my first time here, but something is not right. I recommend reaching out to the DC Board of Pharmacy and skip any online reviews. (It’s easy to fill out). Believe it or not, consumers have protections and the “DEA, Wholesalers, shoulder shrug” is not a rebuttal. You can also reach out to your in network insurance for failure to ensure network pharmacy access, and if you get a large enough group consumer protections DC Attorney General office is responsive. There are delays and shortages sure, but this place seems functionally inert. I don’t doubt the pharmacists have limited visibility, but what specifically makes this pharmacy the worst one for miles? I’m not going further than I need to, every pharmacy should provide adequate care. Time to loop in outside support to help them out

Those people really believe it is a right to work at that location. Their attitudes and lazy behavior shows it. Why do they frowned up so much? Why do they literally text on their phone as they assist you? Why did they give me a prescription ordered by one doctor, but typed in another doctor who did not prescribe it, by one of their staff. The store supposedly opened at 9am, but the pharmacist casually and joyfully walked in 5 minutes later. Speaking of the pharmacist, when I asked him questions about a prescription, all he kept saying was, "I don't know." I was very curious to find out what did he actually know. Unbelievable. Thankfully, no other customer who patiently and professionally waited in like with really needed their medication by 9am, or the would have suffered at the behalf of the casually, laid-back staff who had no motivation to have the pharmacy up-and-running by the posted business hours. Speaking of the staff, they also casually walked around the store after 9am to shop for snacks without a concern in the world regarding opening pharmacy 9am - the posted business hours. That entire staff needs to be replaced. I will be writing corporate.

As a heads up to everyone who needs passport services - the email function will not send you the right image. Seems to be an issue just with this location. The store manager and employee who assisted me did not share this information with me until after I had finished my purchase and called the store with my issue. They did offer a refund to their credit, but this information is not readily available *prior* to purchase, which needs to be the case where there is a cash purchase involved.

Terrible experience. Kids lighting joints in the store. Theft broad day. People in the store threatening to rob the store and customers. CVS needs to step in and do better.
