Super disappointing experience. Rang the “Buzz for Customer Service” 6 times about 2-4 minutes apart to open up a locked cabinet and nobody came. When I spoke to a staff member they said they would help in a few minutes. That never happened and I left without purchasing anything. This store is severely understaffed and >80% of the products are locked behind glass.

I had such a wonderful experience at the CVS in Columbia Heights, and I especially want to recognize Holy for his outstanding customer service. From the moment I walked in, he noticed me right away and kept checking in to make sure I didn’t need anything. That level of attentiveness really stood out. I was having trouble with the photo machine and kept printing the wrong sizes by mistake. Holy was incredibly patient and kind throughout the entire process. He assisted me with the pictures when the machine became difficult to use and helped me correct the sizing after I printed the wrong ones multiple times. He never made me feel rushed or embarrassed—just supported. Holy was truly the most understanding and helpful person. His kindness, patience, and willingness to keep checking on me made a stressful situation so much easier. CVS is lucky to have someone like him!

I have never had a good experience at this CVS, but today was somehow much worse and, ultimately, felt actively unsafe. I sent in two batches of photographs and received a notice that they were ready for pickup. On arrival, they first confirmed my name and print size ("4x6?") and then tried to give me someone else's prints (8x10) -- and repeatedly argued with me that they WERE mine; I had to keep saying both that they were not (someone else's family was in them) and that I could see my own, actual prints on their printer (I was in them). Then, a second staffer intervened and the two literally got into a tug-of-war over my photos. I asked that they be reprinted because they had obvious damage from that interaction--and they refused and kept trying to force me to take them as-is. I ultimately left and will need to get them printed elsewhere, but also don't trust that they won't try to give my photos to unrelated people. BEWARE!!!

Standing under a sign that said ask for help with passport photos, I asked an employee if he could help. He simply said no, and did not explain further. There was no one else around to ask, and it appeared understaffed as bells kept going off from people trying to access all of the stuff CVS decided it needed to lock away behind glass. I gave up and left.
