CVS gets a lot of negative feedback, but my experience has consistently been positive and they the deserve recognition. Despite always being super busy and often under staffed, the techs and pharmacist have always been friendly and extremely helpful. Ever since COVID, a medication I’ve been taking for 15+ years has intermittently been out of stock and unable to be ordered due to nationwide shortages. This causes a lot of anxiety and worry about running out before I can find a pharmacy that has it in stock. Staff have consistently been helpful with navigating this frustrating process and communicating with my doctor.

Honestly, this entire staff is the absolute worst to work with. They are always in a bad mood and not willing to help. They quote times of when prescriptions are going to be ready and then will tell you oh sorry it’s gonna be another two hours. Mind you this is after I’ve already loaded up my kids and come to the Pharmacy for the second time. Additionally, I think that the current manager who is a newer manager treats the staff horribly. I’ve seen the way she talks to her staff, and if I were them, I would be filing an HR complaint. It’s so condescending. I only use this Pharmacy because it’s the one that my insurance requires me to use. If you can avoid using this Pharmacy, I 1000% would recommend going ANYWHERE else. I’m not sure how they stay in business except for the fact that there’s some insurances that partner with CVS brand. This location’s staff is horrific.

I will not be coming back. The person assisting me was a miserable human being. There were only two people behind me in line when it was my turn at the counter. The guy did not even start to assist me right away, which is fine. But I’m standing there and he is yelling at the lady behind me, waving his hands, telling her to come to the second counter. He comes back to me. Asks me my name. I tell him my name. Looks me up in the system. Reads me back my medicines. Goes to the lady who had behind me, asks her name. Tells her she’s not in the system and to wait over there. Tells the next lady to come up to the counter next to me. Goes and gets my medicines. Comes back. Starts going through the different agreements. He said he has to do some stuff in the computer for the agreements because I made a comment about it coming up really slowly. I sign the agreements immediately when they come up. Instead of finishing my payment, he walks away and goes to the other lady and starts asking her questions. I’m sitting and waiting and waiting to pay. I put my card on the card reader. I have not made a peep to this man when he’s not attending me. He starts YELLING at me. “Ma’am you need to wait! If you go too early you’ll mess up the cash register!” I get pissed off because it had been my turn for a while and he had been attending to two other people instead of finishing my transaction, WHILE MY MEDICINE IS SITTING IN FRONT OF ME AND MY WALLET IS OUT. I said. “You should have told me to wait.” He said, “I did tell you to wait!” I said, “no you didn’t, you said you had to do something on your side while the agreement was going through and you walked away and started helping other people.” He said, “It’s called multi-tasking.” I said, “Well, you’re not very good at it.” THIS IS ALL WHILE HES STILL HELPING THE OTHER LADY WHEN I WAS WAITING TO PAY the manager comes over, without me asking and apologizes to me and finishes my transaction. It was the WORST experience I have ever had at a pharmacy. They should be embarrassed of themselves. The manager was very nice, but I just started bawling my eyes out. As I was literally picking up my refill for antidepressants. Literally an awful human being. He had no remorse or accountability. If he had just finished the transaction start to finish, there would have been less waiting for everybody involved. I do not usually fill out surveys or complain, but I he was so awful I cannot just ignore the situation. I’m so uncomfortable with this entire ordeal

This store does not respect the LGBT community or privacy. I was hesitant to post this, but after some encouragement from my wife, I feel it’s important to share my experience. After already having ongoing issues at Walgreens, I went to this CVS location to purchase intramuscular injection needles that I use for prescribed medication related to an immune deficiency. For context, I am a short, broad-built rugby/powerlifting man, and at the time I was already feeling physically weak and just wanted to get what I needed and leave. When I went inside and asked for intramuscular injection needles, I was asked, loudly, and across the room , whether I had a prescription and if they were for testosterone. I’m pretty sure this was the main pharmacist, he was bald. Being asked that publicly was extremely embarrassing. Not only was my medical situation being discussed out loud, but there was also an immediate assumption made about what I was using them for. As someone who already deals with stereotypes about steroid abuse because of my build, this felt inappropriate and unprofessional. I responded that I did not have a prescription on file there and that the needles were not for testosterone. I was then told I could not purchase needles without a prescription. While I understand that pharmacies have policies, the way this was handled lacked discretion and respect for patient privacy. Hell even Walmart, Walgreens, and Amazon allow you to get needles without a prescription! After we left, my wife pointed out something that made the situation even more concerning… if staff are comfortable loudly speculating about someone’s medication, that raises serious privacy concerns for LGBTQ+ individuals or anyone receiving hormone therapy who may not want their medical information discussed publicly. Whether the assumption was about steroids or something else, it was inappropriate either way. A pharmacy should prioritize discretion, respect, and patient confidentiality. Based on this experience, I did not feel that this location values privacy or creates a safe, welcoming environment for everyone. I left feeling embarrassed and frustrated, and I cannot recommend this location.

Picked up a prescription today and didnt realize until I got home that they dispensed the correct medication to the wrong person. I did not catch the error because the other person has the same first name, spelled the same way, with the same birthday, and the same first three letters of their last name. My personal and health information is now attached to someone else's account. I'm signed up to receive the other person's prescription alerts on my phone. The pharmacy techs did not identify they were attaching my insurance or prescription information to the wrong account despite having both my military dependent ID and my insurance card with my full name on them. They did not identify the problem when the insurance would not run through. The pharmacist called and told me that they would get this sorted out, but frankly, I don't trust that this isn't going to turn into a GIANT mess for me. Beware and be extra vigilant when collecting your prescriptions.
