This store in Mission Valley San Diego is always stocked. Every employee is always extremely helpful. I care for my 90-year-old parents and I myself take 12 different medication’s. CVS has made the experience of pharmacy and getting medicine easy understandable and affordable. I Good ask for any more. But they always go above and beyond.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS This CVS location has provided nothing but frustration and disappointment, time and time again. I switched to another pharmacy for my prescriptions, after I witnessed people working in the pharmacy literally running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Absolute chaos, and they have no idea what they're doing. The last straw was when the MinuteClinic was unable to offer ANY assistance to me--I waited on stand by for over an hour until I was informed they were "too busy" to see me that day. Please have the decency to inform people on the wait list before wasting their time like this. Besides that, everything in this location is always locked up, and you need to ring for assistance for basically anything. The self-checkout often does not work--it cannot print your ten foot long receipt. Did I mention everything is about 50% overpriced? Anyway, do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this location. An absolute disgrace that should be shut down immediately. Entering into this location is akin to stepping foot in a third world country.

DON'T GO TO THIS STORE On October 3, 2025, at 935 am, I went to the store to shop for a couple of things like I had done many many times over the last 3 years. The store was empty except for a few staff members that I didnt approach that morning. After not finding some household products that I wanted to use my expiring, extra bucks and OTC benefits card to purchase, a store manager Jon approach me and told me "You have to leave." I was very surprised. I was quietly shopping. I hadn't talked to anybody, nobody had even looked at me to my knowledge. When I asked him why, Jon replied "You know." and spread his arms wide to usher me out the front door. As I was turning towards the front door I heard a voice from the pharmacy say "Corporate will get in touch with you." Nobody ever contacted me. I have not been to this store since then. The only reason I needed shop there was because my benefits card could only be used at CVS. The fact that corporate has never gotten back to me regarding this matter or explaining their actions is speaks volumes. The fact that corporate never got in touch with me makes it very clear that there was no good reason for them to ask me to leave. I would never recommend this store, or CVS for thst matter. Their behavior and response leaves me with the strong impression CVS does NOT want my patronage. If they do this to me, I'm sure they can do it to any customer.

If you’re on accutane, don’t go to this location. They literally all act like chickens with their head cut off when it comes to communication. I have never not had to go talk to the consultation table whenever I pick up medication, and then I spend 15 minutes to solve a non issue and then have to go BACK to the other line because they just forgot to fill my order and I genuinely have lost years of my life in that location. By the last month I just stopped my medication because I would have rather risked it than waited one more time in that prison.I wish riteaid didnt close.

Your new virtual assistant for prescription refills makes this task very difficult. You have to wait until it finishes a long line of dialogue before you can answer the question. There is no need to list every single Rx eligible for renewal. Please return to the previous method, it was much easier.
