KENNETH SCHAUER 9 months agoI went to this CVS for my tetanus shot and was helped by Mia, the pharmacist on duty at the time. Mia was professional, kind, very thorough, and most of all did an A+ job when giving me the injection in my arm! The staff at the pharmacy was also very helpful and kind! As a matter of fact, even the front staff where you're checking out with regular items is always very professional, courteous, and very helpful! Thank you all for what you do!
GLORIA G a month agoWhile at the checkstand, Kevin the cashier, told his co-worker that earlier in the day he answered the phone. The person on the phone asked if they had a particular item. Kevin told the other cashier that he put them on hold, waited a while, then told the person they did not have the item. He was bragging about not having helped them. Ironically I too was looking for an item. At the end of my transaction I asked him about the item. His reply was, "I don't know what that is ". He then turned away. After hearing his prior comment I should have known better. Ill think twice about returning to this CVS.
kristianne o'brien a month agoI made an appointment for my immunocompromised daughter to receive her vaccine here 3 weeks ago because it was the closest pharmacy to have it in stock. It was unavailable at the pharmacies near us. They sent me multiple appointment reminders via email and text up to the day of and an hour before the appointment they had me confirm I was coming or I would be charged a fee. I drove an hour with my daughter to the pharmacy and waited 20 minutes past our appointment time to be told the vaccine wasn’t in stock and offered no other alternatives. I was instructed to wait in line and speak to the pharmacist to see if it was available anywhere else (I had already spoken to multiple pharmacists on the phone trying to track down the vaccine for my daughter and knew there was no other pharmacy near by.) I feel like it was very unprofessional to wait until past the time of my appointment to inform me it wasn’t in stock. Especially given they clearly have my phone number and contact info and I entered my zip code multiple times in my confirmations of the appointment so it was evident I did not live close by.
F 7 months agoI was brought here because a manager by Philip Luong wanted to reach out and speak to me about my experience about one of the many racist customer service team members that work at the Rosecran and Midway location in San Diego. The Spanish lady who I asked for a priced checked and she looked at me as if was bothering her. When you can’t take a product off a shelf and check it yourself, it’s your job to do as I’m asking. Reason why I say this is because the very next person she helped she was very cheerful and upbeat. Now maybe it’s because the way I dress but I’m shopping at CVS not Macys or Louis Vultron. Point being she judges based on looks. The older white lady at cashier can’t do anything by herself. She takes her time to do things and is very lazy. She is also friendly at times and to certain customers. I’ve been in this store several times and it’s the same behavior's and nothing gets done. So to all the Managers around the Pacific Beach and Midway area don’t ask to have the conversation just have the conversation with the employees. I’m sure the stores NEEDS more employees.
David Rendo 5 months agoBy and far the worst pharmacy I’ve ever had to use. They do not care about you, and they go out of their way to show it. No matter how much time you give them, your prescription will not be ready. There’s always a line of frustrated customers. You’re better off going literally anywhere else.
