This location is very convenient. Bertha is always friendly and helpful. I had been going to standalone locations and was unfortunately required to relocate three times because of store closures. I feel like this location is a good fit as you can shop at Target while you are there, and there are many other stores close by. I would recommend this location to anyone on the Southside.

I was sent to get my prescription and this nice man William had help me cash out. He was so sweet. I think y’all need to hire more people like William

It’s embarrassing that this place has so many one stars. Cashier number 1844708 is incredibly rude. She saw coupons in my hand and asked if I was going to use them. I said I’m not sure because I have a 1.50 coupon but the app has a 3.00 coupon, if the app one pops up I’ll use that one and not mine She said I needed to give her mine or she wouldn’t be able to. I said I’ll just see if it pops up as I just clipped it, she proceeded to see if it popped up, it didn’t and she then refused my paper coupon. She said “not with me, no I asked you” so I said ok just cancel it and I’ll go back in line. There was only 3 ppl in line other than me and she called a person stocking the shelves to help me she told her she needed to help me cause she already voided a transaction with me. So I guess she was upset, the new cashier was happy to see if the coupon was there now that a couple minutes passed, when it wasn’t I handed over my paper coupon and I paid. SIMPLE. It was literally no problem for this different cashier, the older Spanish cashier was simply on a power high and refused me because she washed the coupons prior but why would I want her to use mine if the app had a better one? It was as simple as scanning my paper one once she saw the app hadn’t loaded. It was unnecessary for her to waste my time going back in line and pulling another employee. It was a smooth transaction with the new person. I honestly don’t understand why this owner keeps this cashier but I’ll definitely keep my business with Walgreens. I have not couponed in 10 years, I was literally using 2 coupons I just needed a couple things. Gross place, close down already with all of these negative reviews.

The manager was very patient, helpful and kind! She showed compassion towards all the homeless customers.
