CVS deserves zero stars for their utterly deplorable and incompetent service. My doctor called in a 30-day prescription, but I was told it wasn’t eligible until the 18th—32 days out, already two days late. While on vacation, I wasted hours calling, leaving messages, and enduring their maddening back-and-forth. The pharmacist I reached was outrageously rude, put me on hold to “count the days,” and when I politely pressed for an explanation, she got angrier, refused to explain, and hung up. She treated me like a criminal for trying to fill a legitimate prescription, making me feel ashamed for no reason. If they can’t count days properly, how can they be trusted to count prescription medicine accurately? After returning from my trip, I found out the rude pharmacist never processed it. Last night, despite being open, they refused to fill it because they were closing, forcing me to come back. The pharmacist last night promised it would be ready the next morning, but when I returned at 1:00 PM today, they said it wasn’t ready and I’d have to come back at 2:30 PM, wasting yet another trip. While there, I saw another customer who’d been there in the morning and told to return at 1:00, only to be told his prescription wasn’t ready either and to come back after 2:30. Katawanda was utterly unhelpful, offering no solutions or apologies, while the pharmacist wouldn’t even look up or acknowledge me despite clearly hearing the entire conversation. This pharmacy’s staff is an absolute disgrace, treating patients like garbage with zero regard for our time or well-being. Their shameful, callous attitude and blatant incompetence are a slap in the face to customers. They should be utterly ashamed of their despicable service, and I hope karma hits them hard—they deserve to be treated like the trash they make their customers feel like.

I was standing in the line with one other lady in front of me for what seemed like forever (I didn't think I needed to wear a mask, hello it's 2026; hopefully I didn't catch anything with the rounds of people coughing around me. Anyway that wasn't the issue, the lady at the pharmacy was very cold towards me, I don't know if she thought I was up to something, I just had a simple question about a product for my brother to use. The guy who was working with her (I guess he was the pharmacist?) he was professional and recommended the product I showed them, and as he was telling me where to find it in the store, the lady who had initially attended to me behind the counter just went on to talk to the next person behind me, completely dismissing me not even asking if there was anything else I needed. She was so cold and her eyes were just something else. So I said thanks to the guy pharmacist and walked over to find the product. Then I go to the checkout, and I see an associate attending to a customer, so I waited in the line. By the time it was my turn, the cashier associate came around the counter and went to the self checkout machine and told me to checkout there. I was shocked, why he could assist someone else but not me? I asked him, if he knew how to look online to see if I had coupons I could use (because usually at the regular checkout they could do that with the machine, which is why I went there in the first place). He said something about an app and clipping coupons on there. But I know he was also avoiding the trouble of helping me because I've seen associates assisting my mom at a different cvs with coupons and it was no problem for them. I guess I just went to the wrong location, next time I'll go to the one on n central expressway, even though they are not 24hr. Anyway as I was at the self checkout trying to figure out the coupon situation (never did, paid full price) that same associate who refused to check me out was on the side breathing down my neck and watching me as if I was going to try to steal that product, even though I had scanned it. I had to cover the pin pad when I was putting in the pin because he was so ridiculously close. Unbelievable, the receipt printed out finally and I walked out of that place with the resolve of never coming back.

I mean, what do you want me to say? It's great. It's CVS. It has a built in seal of quality. I can't walk in the damn door there without an employee greeting me and asking me how they can help. It's brilliant.

Taiwo, the operations manager, just approached me in the aisle that I was shopping on and he told me that I needed to go put my bag in my car to avoid embarrassment. I asked what he meant by that. He told me that I wasn’t allowed to have my bag in the shopping cart and that I needed to make sure that anything I got at the store was paid for and not put in my backpack. I told him that the only reason why I had my bag and that it was in with me was because I was on my Harley motorcycle and then I didn’t wanna leave it unattended on my motorcycle. I’ve never stolen in my life. Had no intention of stealing. I’m confused more than anything. It’s a shame that he is so proud or afraid of being stolen from that he would approach a loyal and paying customer with accusations of theft. And then try some tough guy act… he’s lucky I’m not as young minded as I once was. Falsely Accusing someone of something like stealing once had consequences. He kept saying “do you understand what I’m saying” and “I don’t want you to be embarrassed “. At the very least, it felt threatening, but nevertheless, I’ll no longer be shopping with CVS. I’m also pulling my family’s prescriptions. Just thought I’d let yall know.

When pharmacy “opens” at 9 AM, staff are just rolling in, registers are not open, no one is ready. Pharmacy takes lunch and closes, they need to make sure there is signage in and out of store and need to include it on every phone message.
